I was waiting for you to try the gum!! 😂 I may be digging in the snow this week if the snow stays at all from tonight. Supposed to be a wintery mix and then real cold. I have a few ax heads and tools that I will do something with one of these days! 👊 Hope you had a great day Chris! Wicked happy hunting

You can sometimes open those cookie coins by holding it on edge on a table and tapping it with a hammer. That one looks like the cookie coating will pop right off.
@christophermichaud71877 күн бұрын
@@awareness556 I may try to give it a tap to see if the coating will come off. The coating can be refined into silver. So I need to save that, but it would be nice to see if I can get details off of that coin.

It looks more like a 19o 4 draped bust large cent to me.
@christophermichaud71877 күн бұрын
@@DanimalDigs kinda looks like a largie, but I can see the date on it. It says 1914. They stopped making large cents in 1857. It rang up a silver VDI too. I may peel the coating off of it to get a better look. Thanks for watching!
@DanimalDigs7 күн бұрын
@@christophermichaud7187 Sorry meant 1814, but after rewatching I believe I see 94 and I'm going to assume it's 1794 cap bust large cent since its facing right. They hit real hard like silver because they are thick.

@DanimalDigs hmmmmm.... that gets me thinking a little bit. Guess it's time to break off the crust and really look at it
