I also noticed the diamonds get smaller as time goes on... I love the Marquis diamond itself, but didn't care for the side diamons or the band it was on. My engagement ring is platinum with a solitare Marquis diamond. It's stunning!

Surprisingly and maybe a little ironically, the 1900 ring and the 2000 ring are one's favorites. Beautiful stones in beautiful settings just letting both the ring and the setting shine without needing sunglasses. Some of those rings in between are just gaudy and ostentatious.

My aunta all got martied in the 80s and 90s and they all have that emerald or princess cut with the baguettes on the sides. It becam the fashion to addnmore baguettes as a push present when the children were born. They all gave some serious bling now 😅!
