I do not get why you don't have more views? You make awsome thing and explain it great. Keep up the making!

Maybe because he can't even pronounce Arduino. Or maybe because he doesn't know that Raspberry Pi's are running a lot of LED light shows.

What I did was use a nodecmu which can connect to wifi on a 600 addressable setup and on every strip I ran a 5v and ground line to the new strip. If you get aluminum diffusers you can hide all the extra cabling inside the aluminum channel. Which also makes the led look better

I am using NeoPixel Stick - 8 x 5050 RGB LED with Integrated Drivers but at start the LEDs start burning why its happened, Any idea? the Strip use multiple Amp according to Strip Colors is Constant -Current-Regulator necessary ? If Yes, Then how?

Usually this a problem with your voltage being too high. Check with a multimeter to make sure your voltage is in spec.

This is a great project that you guys started! I have a quick question. My understanding is that a single controller board can control up to 4 * 128 LEDs, right? How can i control more than 512 leds? Can controller boards be daisy-chained or they have to be individually connected using USB to controller like RaspberryPI? What would be the best way to control 1200 LEDs? Thanks!

Get a quid uno or a quad uno, quindor has just this November 2022 just released his October controller that has brain boards and power boards that you can expand, each one is less than 40 and you can use WLED or fastled and a few more free programs. They come flashed with wled are bluetooth and or wifi or eithnet hard wired, unos are excellent little boards to control 3000 to 4000 leds.

you dont need 60 amps you can split the leds into 10 strips and multiplex them. nanos are so cheap, you could even drive each strip with its own arduino and have the arduinos talk to each other for synching.

I’m new to this... would it be possible to separate he main components of the driver board into the transformer for power and use a Bluetooth receiver for data? Or would you have to attach the the Bluetooth system to the controller board and create an app to replace the computer signal... would this also mean that the data would have to constantly be set to the controller board or would it loop until given a new signal??

do i need a controller board for a single (WS2811) string of 50 (12v) LEDs? I do have a 12v30a power supply and I'd like to use an Arduino to control the string.
@nutmeggaming112614 жыл бұрын
Why not use 12v LED strips and, of course, 12v power supplies. This limits the number of stations that you need, and you would only need a buck converter to power an Arduino of the main power line
@shannoncole64256 жыл бұрын
Why not raspberry pi? Falcon Pi allows you to run full led shows off a Pi.

I would like to know is their an an update to the j design as adafruit has updated some designs is their a better way to control/ transmit power to 1000 digital leds and would I be able to use rgbw instead of rgb. This whole video is awesome because this is exactly what I was looking for. Complete customization/ flexibility and real time. Because I’m not using an arduino and I want to use different types of the leds strips or matrix’s. Is their an update to the driver used. I’m also very new and just starting. Don’t want to waste to much money on purchasing wrong things that won’t work.

*STAY CLEAR* This video got recommended to me while researching Addressable LED. While this video seems legit and promising, the link in the description takes you to a site that is hella sketchy. What do I mean? 1. The link itself is a 404 page on the website 2. The article most related to Addressable LED (on that website) has broken links, a video that is erobb level cringe, and the following Lorem Ipsu pasted in all fields: _"Anim pariatur cliche reprehenderit, enim eiusmod high life accusamus terry richardson ad squid. 3 wolf moon officia aute, non cupidatat skateboard dolor brunch. Food truck quinoa nesciunt laborum eiusmod. Brunch 3 wolf moon tempor, sunt aliqua put a bird on it squid single-origin coffee nulla assumenda shoreditch et.
