1000 Common German Sentences Used by Native Speakers

Let's study useful German phrases. All phrases use vocabulary and grammar at the elementary level, so they are easy to learn even for an elementary level learner.
The audio will be played twice. By listening to the audio on repeat many times, the phrases you have learned will remain in your head.
Do you want to become able to speak German fluently? If so, try reading aloud along with the video and audio! If you repeatedly practice, the phrases and vocabulary you have remembered will begin coming out of your mouth naturally.

Heutzutage sagt man,daß diese Art vom Lernen nicht richtig ist. Ich bin ganz anderer Meinung. So habe ich vor vielen,vielen vielen Jahren Englisch und Deutsch gelernt. Another way to take advantage of these videos, once you have learned the expressions, is to turn the volume off, you read the phrases in English, covering with a piece of paper the answer in German and try to say it. Afterwards you do the same from German into English. As far as I am concerned, half an hour every day is enough. Jetzt bin ich dabei Französisch zu lernen. Viel leichter als Deutsch. great app. helpful to have spoken sentences repeated. how about having each repeated by a different speaker? might make it easier for a nonspeaker to identify with the sound of the words rather than intonation of an individual

I have had a couple of years of German in high school and college but most of these words I didn't know but I did a pretty good job pronouncing them pretty much correctly before the announcer did, so I must have learned a fair amount on how Germans pronounce them, even if I only vaguely understood them without English translation. To be fair once the German words started getting over a dozen letters, much harder

Don't try to remember all of the declination patterns for the nouns. We don't learn them that way either. Just get started with the most common words and tenses (Present and Perfect for speaking, Past tense is almost exclusively used in writing)
