I did 1500 in SP when I was farming my grail and never found either of them. Well I got plenty of shakos later but arachnid was still missing when I was like 92% done. Doing new grail in SP with d2r and I'm again missing both of those items with around 80 % done. Mainly only farming 85+ areas and some boss runs.

I’m a brand new player and just got to hell on my Hammerdin. I was going to farm some Mephisto in Nightmare cus i need some upgrades, but how on earth do you find him so fast? The 3rd area is all random and can be all over the place. I get that you are sorc and teleport, but damn, i sometimes use 10 min just to find him. The area is HUGE. And the dolls don’t help either.

Welcome to D2!! One trick is that from the durance of hate waypoint you usually want to keep turning left and you should on average find level 3 more quickly based on how the maps are procedurally generated. Also if you manage to find an item that has teleport charges on it that could be really helpful too, common ones are Naj's staff, or rare circlets and amulets can have teleport charges too :D

Best way to really to start farm Mephisto proper way other than using sorc is to get Enigma i was quite lucky to get runes for it reasonable quick i recommend just doing baal runs as soon as you can i found all my runes for Enigma there doing full clears on Level 2 to kill baal didn't take too many days after i could easily do to those runs whitout too big risk of death👍🏻

Helluva NIIIIICE RNG on your run 88's Ravenfrost! Really cool getting in on the freebies to free up space too. I always enjoyed running into new people & running around with old friends online. It wasn't uncommon that on the weekends when I would play. I usually found myself g-rushing 7 people n/nm/h. some were builds to play. A LOT of them were hell mules, Imbue, a gamble for the rune in IV & socket q. Do junker die facets still work on mercenaries? I thought it was always fun back in the day to throw junker die facets of varying elements into a black hades so the mercenary's deaths were at least useful in finishing off whatever it was. Funny Schmucks at the end. Good times. Happy hunting. (damn Manalds... haha & eww... RNG kick to the shins on both legs for those Nagels too! haha Peace, Reg.

199% ed eth Guardian Angel is great find. I have it on merc for my FoHdin.. he feels invincible to hydra from council members, pit lord inferno spam, Gloam lightning bolts. Use Vamp Gaze instead of andy's for the magic damage reduced by 10-15 applied after the 90@res... he doesn't feel pain.
