+Predator459 Its on the TEST SERVER in a series of balance tests they're doing so that they don't have to screw with the live server all the time. There have been outliers or random oddities in each one so far, which seem most likely just random misses on cleanup or things they threw in to test the extremities of the system (such as, can the engine handle this? Let's be fair, I'm even amazed the game was able to handle that) but more often than not they aren't usually that ridiculous like this one was. Also, its the test server so its not like it mattered or benefited the player in doing so every match.

Yep, the 5k is getting annoying quirks buffing range but penalising heat and biasing them towards medium lasers IIRC. On an oversized 60t mech that can carry only 6 energy as its primary weapon plus an srm rack.... Right so the blackjack can do a better job of that as can the firestarter hell even the Locust too. if you want to run LL build the heat gets too much too quickly.
