I’ve been following Luke for ages. Just subscribed to you and Benjis channels from his links. My vote is you, Well done! I was skeptical about the purple/pink. But adding the blue to the face/hands and those taseract flames absolutely killed it!!

Excellent job! Coincidentally I have some unpainted Nighthaunts, and was thinking of an *extremely* similar scheme but with blue as the central color, so after seeing your gang I'm now thinking purple in the bottom, blue above (potentially the very top nearly white, dunno) and pink/magenta for the faces/skin, could work, would have to test. And you gotta gotta point a blacklight at these guys! Fluos are UV-reactive! Your gang will be extra spooky! :D

Top work mate! Always fun see you guys hang out. I used to be to TERRIFIED of an airbrush, but buying a cheap one let me get over my fear of breaking it and cleaning which really isnt a big deal at all if you watch a couple of tutorials.

Great video man and really good deal on those nighthaunt I think what with the full price of things. second hand /discounted models are a great way to go And recycling/upcycling models is a great thing So they don't just end up in bin And nice to see another person who can't stand building models as well if the kits came pre made I'd be so happy haha

There is a pitfall to buying secondhand, ready-built Nighthaunts: They are _fragile,_ which means some of the minis are likely to be damaged. Not a big deal if you just want them for gaming, but yeah, just that, there may be some broken bits.

I think if I was painting this as a slow grow project, I would maybe have picked out more of the details. But painting it like this as one big project, I’d have gone insane. Happy with the overall aesthetic, just don’t look too closely at individual models 😅

Oh man, I love getting minis that are already assembled, I hate the assembly process. The airbrush is also a great time saver by the looks of it, which did you use here?

I used a Harder and Steenbeck airbrush here, but I’ve got a cheap £20 kit off eBay too that works just as well. The compressor is about £100 and worth the extra spending.

been trying to use vallejo primer for years and always clogs me up! any tips, you seem to spray it nicely. Tried it thinned m unthinned and with different psi. Tried a 0.3 and 0.5 , debating trying a0.7 needle

I used a 0.5 for these which is possibly bigger than most people would use but I like it for bigger paint jobs, like priming and this as it was only 2 colours top and bottom. I tend to thin it down 2:1 paint:water. I have my PSI at between 30 and 40, depending on what I'm doing. Airbrushing is weird though, as you could use the exact same settings and paint thinned exactly the same as me and get different results. Keep at it :)

Yes we find that no matter what Luke starts off doing on his channel, always things go awry and he finishes up going some what over board but fair doo's to him he usually come thru with a pretty good finished product. But he still cheats, never fully trust a ginger bearded Y.T'er.
