I grew up in Hawaii, currently living on the mainland…. I love seeing the little ordinary corners of Oahu you show in your videos. Just a shot of somebody’s normal backyard with some ti leaves poking through the fence, or a garage with surfboards in it takes me back home better than looking at gorgeous footage of beach sunsets 🌴 ❤

Not true. I live here. Lahaina town located on the island of Maui had a devastating fire, that part of the island is closed off to public. That is where people should not be going to. Yes Housing is very difficult at the moment for all those that lost their homes to the fire. My family being one of thousands who lost everything.

who did you hear this frm, people on tiktok? I've seen this said a lot online, and agree that the rich moving here is def pushing people out of their homes and local businesses, a big problem we stay fighting against among others. but the attitudes towards tourists/haoles is much different when you're actually on island and they're not all negative, there are much more damaging individuals out there than our mr. schmoxd.. but open to hear your opinion, mo thoughts mo bettah. shootz
