What inserts do you use for rhoughing?
@hydraulicfactory3 ай бұрын
I used the same diamonds and tool holders in both the roughing and finishing processes. I use DNMG Diamonds.

What are the machining tolerances you are working with?
@hydraulicfactory3 ай бұрын
We work in ISO 9001 standards bro.
@commonsenserules79953 ай бұрын
@@hydraulicfactory ISO 9001 has been the international standard for years in all manufacturing. I'm referring to +/- machining tolerances per blueprint specifications.
@hydraulicfactory3 ай бұрын
I use h8 tolerances in the band channels, oring nutring, h9 tolerances in the omegat channels. There is a gap between minus 5 and 13 percent in the piston's band and other channels.

Yes, it is the piston of a cylinder produced for a 1000 ton hydraulic press. I will share the production of other parts in the coming weeks.

Use Trepanning?
@hydraulicfactory3 ай бұрын
I don't understand what trepanning is, can you please elaborate on your question?
@therealspixycat3 ай бұрын
@@hydraulicfactory from David Wilkins channel. He did a lot of trepanning kzbin.info/www/bejne/fn6maXyMeLKSfqssi=_RUKy5BzBPZw_nPl
The concept would be to 'core' the center and save material. I've done Trepannig on a mill, but limited in depth or thickness. Google machining, trepanning. Nice work btw!
