@@carolew994your correct but for many it is spiritual!! So what is wrong with that.😊
@dbridge122 ай бұрын
Many think this “Hallelujah” makes this about religion -- but if you listen to the words it really is quite sensual …. Which arguably could be interpreted as a divine experience ….
@ngoziene9102 ай бұрын
@dbridge12 hahaha, not spiritual, he's such a naughty composer.... hallelujah David saw a bathing woman and baffled to see such scenery, lol, 😮 Obviously, a good composer, lust.. a beautiful song though
@timstamps52812 ай бұрын
It’s about sex - but using biblical words. A blend of sex and religion. Leonard Cohen has other songs like that as well. It’s also fine to think of it as spiritual. Music can be whatever people feel.
@ngoziene9102 ай бұрын
The Divine God does not approve sex outside marriage. Forrnication, adultary is a sin. Linking it to God being a biblical story based on David, a servant of God. If you are really close to God knowing his words, his will, you won't be saying so. An opinion, who you are or good feelings of the song won't change God's Word.. David, a good servant of God, falted in many ways. God forgave him, God knows the heart of David, as a good heart brought him close to him cos he does his will despite his sins. David goes back and asks for forgiveness and makes atonement of his sins. The Word of God is what it is. It can't be changed by any man or by any man's opinion.
