A dash is better in more scenarios compared to some i-frames. Think Eject Button vs. Shedinja Doll.

Especially as a ranged character. If you're ranged vs a lot of ranged characters, namely mages, you can run feint a little better. Or if the other team has like one mini and you duo with a tank, you can use it to buy time when they jump you for your tank to save you
