Field test of the $10000 Nokta Invenio versus the Deus X35 in a European field setting. We find!
Nokta Invenio claims to be a game changing metal detector, see it at work as I use it on a European field for the first time. I also compare and contrast it with the new Deus X35 setup and we go looking for ancient coins and artifacts. This is state of the art treasure hunting.

That tube you dug up...... is the top from a Black Powder Flask< circa1830s, which has unscrewed it self from the Flask body. This was used to measure the amount of drams needed to fire the lead shot for a muzzle loading Shotgun, before the invention of the Cartridge case. That's a neat find, and would still be collectable.

Great stuff, Clem. I've seen videos which demonstrate the Invenio's supposed ability to reveal a 3D image of subterranean thingies. Gawd knows how that works but I'll be watching your future videos with interest to see whether a seasoned, real life, 'hunter' can make it sing and dance. Cheers!

As you are in Europe, the “tiny silvery bits” are probably a radar jamming device used by the RAF in WW2. Called “Windows,” or “Chaff,” they were tiny strips of tin foil, or similar. They were dropped in huge amounts and would disperse for miles.

@@ChillBill1 well, due to the size of the area we ended up prospecting today to see which field we deemed a bit spot to concentrate on in the week. Had a coin within 30 seconds of being next to th mound, just an inch or two under the ground, George half penny. Remained of fields prospecting turned up some buttons, some strange lead things, couple coins and possible Roman coin. Next hunt we are going to stick in one field and hopefully get some yummy relics. Seems an active site and pulling buttons and half pennies is a great sign that no one has been there before. I want the invenio so bad, but the price is absolutely ridiculous! Especially as a U.S detectorist that doesn't have the hoards/caches like the old world has. I have had the deus for about 2 years and it definitely seems like it's a machine better suited for the pastures of the old world. But still is decent. Wish I bought the minelab equinox 800 instead though.

80% of the population worked in the fields then and many countries had small change which would get lost. While a field might be empty now, in the past it would have been many little fields full of peasant cottages, long since destroyed with the hedges, ponds and other buildings to make modern massive prairie like fields.

I'm sure it's full of potential finds but I'm struggling. I cant understand why I'm not finding nothin. Oh I've had two spindle whirls dating 12th to 15th century. Great video and stand off review. The Nokta machines are getting heavier as many users are reporting which is not good at all. The Invenio is like you said ONLY good for searching hot spot areas for deep hidden pots! So you have to drag that beast around all day long in the hope you find an area to search that may if your 1% lucky to find an old pot filled with treasure. Not for me thanks so would take the Deus any day which gets awesome depth as you already know and as I know too. Easier to wait for the plough to bring up the deeper stuff and gives us something to search for each time we go out rather than finding everything and having nothing left to search for? Clearly, the Invenio will need to have you change the way you attack a field. Much more methodical. I like to rush out and just attack a field with much haste. If I had that machine I would map the field with the regular and also deep modes and methodically dig out each hot spot area. If done properly, you will be able to clear the field permanently and never have to worry if you left anything there. Lots more digging until you fully understand deep mode.
