I love that you have included the chords in this video. I have a hard time figuring out which finger is actually pressing which string when I'm watching. This video has been a particular blessing because I am playing this song this Sunday with our church's worship team. I am a relatively inexperienced bass player and I usually play just basic rhythms. Nice cover, sire. Gorgeous bass too! If you have time for a question, I would like your feedback on what type of D.I. you use during your worship service. I'm assuming that you run to a P.A. direct. I'm considering a radial JDI or Whirlwind IMP passive direct box instead of my current setup. I've just been asking around for input before spending the $$. Some Pro's prefer the passive box for better clarity...Thanks!!

Tom Parks Hi, thanks for viewing my cover. Well, for my basd cover I used Tech 21. But for Church, I connect bsss direct to the bass amp ( Bass amp connect to main board). I used Lakland Skyline bass so the bsss sound is just fine w/o DI. God bless

@@Salaituk Thanks for replying so soon. I also prefer to use my amp as a monitor, and then run it's D.I., only thing is I don't have pre-post EQ option with it. I also have an Eden wtdi, which sounds great to me, but doesn't work for every situation.(No pre-post EQ). So after watching your video and seeing your MM Sterling, I figured you were playing pro and I could value your opinion. The type of bass makes all the difference, your wise to get a Lakland. I'm using a Warwick Fortress One (German), and a passive Corvette 5 Pro Series. I'm happy with both, but I'm in the hunt for a Stingray5 for a little more versatility. I appreciate your input, Chris. Great to hear your interest in playing bass guitar. I play guitar prior to learning how to play bass on my own. I would suggest you watch "beginner for bass" or "basic bass lesson" here on youtube. The top 4 strings on Acoustic guitar is the same as 4 strings bass. Since you already play guitar , you are a step closer to become bass player👍👍
