Do appreciate the updates but might help with views if you included some timelapse sections that showed some of the work being done. I know some of us Mechanically oriented folks would enjoy that. Things getting built keeps me glued to the screen I know it would others aswell. 🤙

@@SXSBlog I can imagine timelapse being a bit difficult due to the fact that there is probably a lot of chin resting on fist between steps to make sure it's right. This is not a straight forward project by any means. However, it is straight batshit awesomeness!

I have a similar set up, it’s a mid engine rail with a big block Chevy and a power glide mounted directly to a corvette C5 diff. Might be a cool race for silver lake or u guys event. And ya I think this is a great first build for the new shop! Great update video!

I highly recommend a pretty sturdy firewall from harness bar to floor. You wouldn’t want a rod blowing through the block and only having that 1/32 aluminum of the Kirkey to save you

Sick! Couple ideas: Rear facing intake? Could help with packaging and also may help with dust intake into the motor and with the door bars keep in mind elbow room. Tight packaging in a rig like this! This thing is going to rip!

@@SXSBlog I would recommend Sand Tire Unlimited 36"....your going to need the traction and the drivetrain will more than handle them. Plus you can run alot of droop in the chassis and still have plenty of ground clearance.

Holly chit! This is Mad Cow Cool team. Just absolutely amazing, such a great build. JP transformation right before our eyes. Maybe in this planing faze think about a fire suppression system to help with a fire issue and a turbo shutdown plate in case of a run away. Looking forward to the cool wheelie bars. Build a big "X" behind the seats. Floor to roof. Wouldn't hurt to put one in the roof, and between the C pillars too. You want bars to end at a node so the load can be transferred. The current roof bar doesn't meet any intersections; it's not doing much in an impact. If you're doing intrusion bars, make a V in the roof that starts together at the top of the intrusion bars and spreads to meet the B pillars. I know looks matter, but at that HP level yous need serious protection.

Lower seats, a CG improvement. A dry sump, an even bigger CG improvement - plus lube security and better thermal control from snow to dunes. AND CHEAP! Who wouldn't? . . . OK, Roadkill wouldn't :)))
