That truck has got to be 1500+ whp. Leaving a 900hp 2500lb civic at 4500lbs takes alot more power than "1000". Cleetus made like 800whp with a bolt on SC at something like 10lbs IIRC. This guy has a built motor and two turbos. He should be racing the hoonicorn

@@colesliva5751 yes they can. Even more than that. I have seen fully stock junkyard 5.3 making over 1000hp all day long. My only dislike on the LS is the powerband at high HP. They are awesome NA engines, great for NOS, great for superchargers, but on turbo applications, the Coyote, 2jz, and even the B/K series have better powerband.

@@devil2jz500 - no such thing as a 100% stock junkyard 5.3 making 1000hp for 1 minute let alone all day. And the power band is always going to benefit the coyote especially forced induction because it revs higher.

@@CoyoteFTW Sealed LS’s have been making 1000hp for like 20+ years and has proven reliability since lol Most guys do opt for a $300 eBay cam and new gaskets with there 200k+ mile motors tho. Coyote doesn’t have a great powerband because it makes dogshit Torque down low, The Top end only helps when the car has HP advantage and a 10 speed trans to keep in its high powerband There’s reason why ancient Pushrod motors are still the dominant platform drag racing and Coyotes keep breaking there own micro records lmao
