Man the first "fast" car I drove when I was 17 was a buddys 93 eg with a Type R swap and nothing but headers/intake/exhaust. Even with bolt ons it ran low 13s, which is slow by todays standards but in 2001 that was moving. Probably less considering the tune but it's gutted and those are super light to begin with it's prolly 900 Lbs lighter. If it was making 650whp, compared to mcclarens 612 crank hp, it would have been a bigger gap unless it's boost by gear or he was having to manage throttle and dropping out of boost 🤷🏻
