With Chicago being democratically controlled isn't it better to sell and buy in a more landlord friendly state? Can you make a video regarding that topic.

Personally, I live in the area, love Chicago and have owned/managed my properties for nearly 20 years. Although you may look at the landlord laws and decide to stay away, that also means that the people who already own here, understand the laws and manage property here will have less competition. I appreciate the comment, but I have no intention of selling my properties in the foreseeable future. What I think you are alluding to here is where should you start to invest? That question is complicated and politics is just one small part of that equation. I'll think about how I can create a video to address it, thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
