Shanghai is a vibe. I feel Europe is behind like 20 years. Also those rick esque trousers, why bit just dye them black yourself? And switching the drawstring out is easy to do as well.

if europe is behind 20yrs then the US is behind 40+. i ended up scooping the black pair towards the end of the vlog. too much work to dye them etc

There are several men's vintage stores and archive stores in Shanghai, such as EIGENROOM, 出櫃 by 時堂 SHOWROOM SHANGHAI, and ONE GALLERY CAVE. However, I don't know much about them. They were recommended by my friend.

Went to INS last NYE-wish we had multi-floor complexes like that in the states haha. I'm actually confounded how there isn't better mens fashion shopping there
@M.____________7 ай бұрын
it was definitely a unique concept! i wonder how well a multi-floor club would translate to the States, just because i had concerns about safety in terms of number of people in the building and smoking inside. mens fashion shopping was definitely underwhelming

Not an easy place to go as a tourist. If you can’t read Chinese characters you won’t be able to use any maps apps. Some shops only take wechat pay and many foreigners are not able to use wechat pay. You can’t use many mini apps to do simple things such as order food at a restaurant, or order Waimai food delivery. China is awesome, but tourist accessible it definitely is not. It’s the most cutoff place from the rest of the world in every way possible. It’s by far the least tourist friendly place I’ve ever been

buncha valid points, i can definitely see China being not so tourist friendly

this was a good one. i recently moved out here for work. it's mad fun, but you right mfers are dusty out here for the most part. and vintage selection for guys is just nasty ass carhartt and bootleg ralph lauren shit
@M.____________7 ай бұрын
hopefully you have some type of work balance, from what my classmate tells me, it’s a lot of unpaid OT saw zero fits and no mens vintage boutiques fr
