Greetings, the scriptures do not teach that the world ends, nowhere in scripture is this taught, nowhere. The scriptures do not teach a rapture, nowhere in the scriptures is this taught, nowhere. The scriptures do teach about the "last days" and "latter days". Almost every prophet talks about the last days, which is defined by the prophets as the last days of their covenant. This covenant was called the Mt. Sinai/Mosaic covenant. Jesus Christ was born under this covenant, the law. This covenant was the "age" he was born under. Christ was sent by his Father to fulfill the law. Who did the law pertain to? Israel This is why Christ says: But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Christ makes it very clear when he would return. He said: But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. He said: Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. He told the apostles/disciples to take the gospel of the kingdom of heaven to the known world. This was accomplished: Romans 10:18, 16:26, Colossians 1:23, now comes the end of the age. When the temple was destroyed this was the "last day" of the old covenant. The same last day Christ mentions 3 times in John 6. This is the revelation/resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every New Testament writer told their immediate audience they would witness the revelation of Jesus Christ. No one knows the day or hour. Until they are told. Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. This book was written circa 65 A.D. So, Jesus Christ has known about his imminent return for one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight years. Let that sink in. Christ said: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. If a person denies what Christ said about his return, destroying the temple (called heaven and earth by the Jews), ending the curse of the law, which brought death, the last enemy Christ destroyed at his coming, then you must make a choice. Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis? Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart. Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36) We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24. 1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. 1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant. Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. It also mentions the tribes of Israel in them but once again I’m still learning myself. Can find it in revelation which is last chapter of bible. Don’t worry if you feel fear when reading it. It’s normal to when you don’t build a relationship close with god. I was all fear. But as I accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior rereading revelation made me joyful and expectant for the time to come. Read 2 Thess 2, Paul tells us not to be deceived about Christs coming until we see these things….apostasy, then the man of sin revealed. Having searched the scriptures it appears that we will be raptured 3.5 years into the Great Tribulation. Because it says in the Bible that " These are the saints who came out of the Tribulation and have washed their robes in the blood of the Lamb. " Therefore we will be here for the 1st part of the Great Tribulation. During the second part of the Tribulation that's when God's wrath will be poured out. At least that's my understanding. Living/walking in sin is the definition of being dead, while you are breathing. Christ was crucified to atone for your sin, not your flesh. Christ told the apostles/disciples to "raise the dead". This means deliver the gospel message about him and entering his kingdom. You are born again while you are breathing. The apostles/disciples were not sent to cemeteries to preach to corpses. Kingdom on earth. They tried to make Christ the King when he was on earth the first time, he refused. Where did he tell Pilate his kingdom resided? on earth? Please pray for endurance. The church will go through very tough persecution. Scripture says that Christ returns at the last trumpet and those who endure to the end will be saved. The Holy Spirit will help you through the tough times that are coming, but pray for endurance. I believe a time is coming soon where choices will need to be made, do you follow Christ and are you willing to die for him or will you follow the world into destruction? Glorious rewards await us in heaven but first the church will go through a time of testing and refinement. Please don't give up, Christ is worth it!
