I learned some things from Pastor Baxter, but he got Daniel 9:27 wrong. Based on Hebrews 9:15 and Hebrews 12:22-24, the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26 cannot be separated from the New Covenant fulfilled by His blood at Calvary. Are we supposed to believe the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel to reveal the timeline of the Messiah who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and then the angel failed to even mention the New Covenant. Or, is the covenant with the many in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the many in Matthew 26:28? The 1599 Geneva Bible is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America, before John Darby showed up on our shores about the time of the Civil War. What was the earlier understanding of Daniel 9:27 found below in the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate. Act 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Act 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. The death of the Messiah is found in Daniel 9:26, and there are only two possible singular antecedents for the word “he” in the next verse. Those antecedents are either Christ or Titus, who was the prince of the people that destroyed the temple during 70 AD. Dan 9:26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Is the “he” in Daniel 9:27 the “Messiah”, or “the prince” of the people that destroyed the city and the sanctuary in verse 26? If we used “the people of the prince” it would not be a singular “he”. Does the author of the Book of Hebrews connect the New Covenant with the Messiah’s death found in Daniel 9:26, in the verse below? Heb 9:15 And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. (NKJV) Verse 26 also says the Messiah would be cut off “after” the 69 weeks. If I agree to paint your house “after” 69 weeks, it will not be painted until the 70th week, or after. Is there a “gap” of almost 2,000 years between the 69th week and the 70th week, or was it fulfilled during the first century when the Gospel was preached “first” to the Jews? We know there is a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as the Apostle Paul said in the verse below. Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Can we find a time period of about seven years when the Gospel was taken “first” to Daniel’s people during the first century? If we can, we have good evidence that the 70th week of Daniel has already been fulfilled. Did Christ command His disciples to take the Gospel only to Israel in the passage below? Mat 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans. Mat 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Mat 10:7 And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.' Is the time period when the Gospel was preached “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews in the passage above, confirmed in the passage below? Act 10:36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Act 10:37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached; Act 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. In the passage above Luke confirms the fact that the Gospel of Christ was preached throughout the land of Israel after the baptism which John preached. Here again, we have a text which reveals a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as Paul said in Romans 1:16. Bible scholars have looked at the number of Passover celebrations in the Gospels and have estimated Christ’s earthly ministry to have lasted about three and one half years. Was the Gospel taken “first” (Rom. 1:16) to the Jews for a period of about three and one half years during the period of time revealed in the Gospels? In Galatians 1:14-18 Paul reveals he did not go up to see Peter until about 3 years after his conversion. But anyway it seems like toward the end of your comment you are trying to figure out if there was a Gap as most dispensationalist believe and you were using Paul as a time frame but when the day of Pentecost came Paul had not been chosen yet by God but we have to look at what Jesus told the disciples before he ascended back to the Father Acts 1:1-9 1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, 2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen: 3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God: 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. 9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: So there is no Gap in the Daniel 70th week prophecy and you are right the ( He ) in all of the scriptures that you shared are correct the Covenant for many was fulfilled by Jesus Christ if only these preachers and Theologians would use the reference scriptures in there Bible me personally I use the original King James Version Bible in the latest translations they have altered the original words. But anyway the Daniel 70th week prophecy ended when the Roman Army destroyed Jerusalem in 70Ad because the scriptures says that desolations are determined and the prince of the people that is to come will destroy the city and the temple and that occurred in 70Ad. But 70Ad was the beginning of sorrows because the wars in Jerusalem took a 42-year break after Masada was conquered which was 73ad and then the wars commenced in Jerusalem from 115ad through 1967ad the six day war and World War II after that but that war was not necessarily started in Jerusalem but the Chancellor of Germany Adolf Hitler was responsible for World War II but the wars in Jerusalem were according to God's will ( Rev.17:12-17 ) These wars were the great tribulation that Jesus was referring to in Matthew 24 And no one has even mentioned these wars because they can not find these wars in the book of Revelation but God showed me these wars again they are in Rev.17:12-17 about the ten horns which are on the beast represents ten kings at the time that John had his vision these ten kings were not alive yet but they will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb shall overcome them and God used the Ten kings according to his will and the Ten kings represents the ten wars that occurred in Jerusalem from 115ad through 1967ad the six day war these wars were the time of Jacob's troubles the world as a whole is not Jacob only Israel is identified as Jacob but yet these false teachers of God's word when they read the book of Revelation they apply Revelation to the whole world. So there is no 7year tribulation period because Jesus fulfilled everything that was prophesied and the 70th week prophecy is irrelevant for the Gentiles because during the time that the children of Israel went into captivity in Babylon they were cursed by God for worshiping the idols of Baal and going upon every high mountain and under every green tree playing the harlot and there land was also cursed and the main reason is that the children of Israel were still under the Circumcision of the flesh the Mosaic law when God required for them to be circumcised but when the Gospel was extended to the Gentiles and Cornelius received the Holy Ghost and his entire family God did not require for Cornelius or any Gentiles to be circumcised. I hope that you can understand what I just explained the 70th week prophecy does not have a connection in determined the rapture or the end of the world there is no such thing as a pretrib or midtrib or post tribulation rapture Jesus explained in Matthew 24 about when he comes for the church. Matthew 24:37-42 37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. Jesus is referring to business as usual a regular day not a time of tribulation You see a lot of preachers teach that the rapture is in the earlier verses of Matthew 24 but it is not the rapture when they read the part that says and he shall gather his elect from the four winds of heaven from one end of heaven to the other then they believe this is the rapture of the church but it is not. The elect coming from the four winds of heaven are spiritual agents of God prepared for war coming from out of the four winds we have to understand what the four winds of heaven are . Just as God told Ezekiel to prophecy to the four winds of heaven that the dead bodies will receive breath and when Ezekiel prophesied to the four winds of heaven the dead bodies received breath and stood upon their feet the four winds of heaven are authorized by God to proclaim his power and miracles signs and wonders This scenario is totally different from first 1Thessalonians 4 when it says that those that are alive and remain shall meet the Lord in the air in the clouds and we will forever be with the lord the Saints are still on Earth and then we are caught up to meet the Lord in the air in the clouds. So I hope that you can see the difference. And now that I have learned Greek and Hebrew I have found out that they are applying the book of Revelation the wrong way but that will be for another time if you are interested let me know and I know that I have gone over a lot if you have a printer I would recommend printing this message out . However, there are several different visions of His return shown from different perspectives in the Book of Revelation. Christ returns at the end of Revelation chapter 6, with signs in the sun, moon, and stars, as are found in the Olivet Discourse. Those at the end of the chapter are hiding from the wrath of the Lamb. Why would they be hiding if Christ is not present? The "kings", "captains", "might men", "free", and "bond" are also found in chapter 19 at the return of Christ. He returns at the 7th trumpet, which is the last trumpet in the Bible, and the time of the judgment of the dead in Revelation 11:15-18. The beginning of chapter 12 is a history lesson containing the fall of Satan, and the birth and death of Christ, who is the seed promised to crush the head of Satan in Genesis 3:15. The Second Coming is found in the "harvest" of chapter 14, which is related to the parable of the wheat and tares in Matthew chapter 13. He comes as a thief at Armageddon, and we find the greatest earthquake in history in chapter 16. This occurs when the 7th angel pours out his vial. How powerful is an earthquake which moves islands and destroys the mountains? What is happening to the planet? He comes on a horse in chapter 19. Chapter 20? Does He come with the fire, and the judgment of the dead at the end of chapter 20, which agrees with what Paul said in 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10, and 2 Timothy 4:1? (The time of the judgment of the dead is also found in Revelation 11:18.) There are no mortals left alive on the planet at the end of Matthew 25:31-46. Why does an angel come down from heaven with a key to unlock the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2, if the pit was not already locked before that time? Are there wicked angels in the pit in Rev. 9:11? If the beast "ascends" from the pit in Rev. chapter 11, where was the beast before that time? Does your view agree with Peter in 2 Pet. 2:4, and Jude in Jude 1:6, when they both said wicked angels are already in chains of darkness? Revelation 9:14 proves some of the angels were previously bound in some manner. Because the two witnesses were bodily resurrected from the dead in Revelation 11, the "first resurrection" at the beginning of Revelation 20 is not the first bodily resurrection in the book. The principle of "Recapitulation" means there are multiple visions of His return.

I miss him and still go back into ETM archives and replay his episodes. Reverend Baxter passed away election (selection) night 3 November 2020 from complications of SARS-CoV-2 about 20 miles from where we live here in Texas. As soon as we found out the next day it struck me as prophetic. His son-in-law is doing a good job filling some huge shoes.

There is no salvation in the name of Jesus Christ or any other name according to acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Most people would not call themselves by someone else is name, nor would Yahuah/Yahusha! Yod Hey Uah Hey =Yahuah = Yod Hey Uah Shin Ayin = Yahusha Directly from Paleo Hebrew no mistake. Absolute Fact a four-letter tetragrammaton, look it up. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of Yahuah (God) is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom, and instruction. This is a major problem because nobody fears Yahuah (God) anymore, they can do whatever they want, to anyone, act any way they want, and live according to their own devices. Fact: the only prayers he hears from the disobedient is REPENTANCE. You repent, then you Obey, then you get to pray. I mean can a disobedient child get rewarded for disobedience? I mean come on Matthew 13:13 Matthew 13:14 Matthew 13:15 Mark 4:12 Mark 6:2 Luke 2:46 Luke 8:10 Luke 18:36 I can go on, and on, and on, on how people will hear, but perceive not, and to see, but perceive not. Truly, deaf, dumb, and blind. But then you have the ones that can hear, and perceive, but do nothing about it. Just keep on living the same old life they have always lived. Romans 2:13 for not the hearers of the Torah are Justified before Elohim, but doers of the Torah shall be Justified. So James 1:22 but be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. Would you rather die than disobey Yahuah? Not many would, they continue to break those 10 Commandments continuously, without thought, without reason, they don't care. their not his sheep, they don't hear his voice. There's nothing you can do to give them HEARING or SIGHT, that comes from the father. There's nothing you can do to make somebody understand, no matter how much you love them. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter, fear YAH and keep his Commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13. Is there a “gap” of almost 2,000 years between the 69th week and the 70th week, or was it fulfilled during the first century when the Gospel was preached “first” to the Jews? We know there is a time period when the Gospel was taken “first” to the Jews, as the Apostle Paul said in the verse below. Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Can we find a time period of about seven years when the Gospel was taken “first” to Daniel’s people during the first century? If we can, we have good evidence that the 70th week of Daniel has already been fulfilled. Did Christ command His disciples to take the Gospel only to Israel in the passage below?
