8 years of chronic cough.. doctors ignored because I was non smoker. Long story short. Duke took 2/3rds of my right lung. God was there every step of the way. Healthier today.

Amen glad God provided healing with your lung cancer! Lung cancer has touched my family, so I know how difficult this can be. My grandmother died of lung cancer at nearly 90 and she had never smoked in her life. Next my mother was diagnosed at age 70 and she was a smoker for life, but had quit at age 60 or so. Lung cancer risk drops after quiting smoking, but not to zero. My mother suffered terrible from her softball sized, inoperable tumor and she went from 165 pounds to 70 pounds at her death. Devastating disease... God Bless you now!! I am teaching at a Christian high school now and it's such a blessing!
