Patch 7.3.1 Update: In spite of the nerfs to Crushing Mark (lvl 39 utility) from 50% to 40% this is still the best option in my opinion and Jugg tank is still really good overall.

How do you manage rage in this build? I've tried it as you stated in the video but at the end of the opener I'm pretty much left with Spamming vicious slash until I run out of rage just to keep my 5 stack of OO up. Or is that something I should worry about given out the opener works? (In case someone DOES outlive the stunlock/interrupt cycle).

In PVP, Rage won't be as much of an issue since Immortal has a couple of passives that give you extra rage when being attacked/defending attacks. But if you're ever out of Rage and everything really is on CD, that's a good time to swap guard or intercede to farm protection.

interesting, I never thought of running Overwhelming Offense for Jugg Tank. Most guides suggest the Rage's Synn Second Amulet. Jugg Tank hits like a truck, wonder if full Crit build (0 alacrity) can give us close to 150k.

Yes! You can either go full crit augments with 4 alacrity enhancements, or what I have been doing lately is running 3 alacrity augments on top of 3 alacrity ENHANCEMENTS, which gets you to 2158 alacrity rating (enough for 1,4 GCD) and put the rest into crit.

@@ivano1337 Thank you! I struggle mostly on the tank aspect and knowing who to guard and when to guard. It's also hard if you mess up on the rotation as it throws your abilities off time.

Yeah playing tank well is the hardest thing you can do in swtor pvp imo. Just comes with practice. Best advice I can give is just focus on improving at one thing at a time (e.g. guard swap) and don't worry if you mess up your damage rotation.

what happens if you stack more alacrity to speed up the cd of against assault for rage and crushing blow for damage so you dont have to wait as long. like 2500 alacrity and the rest in crit.

Good question! With 2054 you have 7,14% alacrity. Aegis Assault CD will be 14 seconds. Your GCD will be 1,4 seconds. So you can use it every 14 seconds. With 2500 alacrity your cooldown will go down to about 13,7 seconds, but your GCD will still be 1,4 seconds. So you dont gain anything because even though your aegis assault will be ready, you will still be in the last GCD as it comes of cooldown. So it's not really worth it

Of course there are some cases where you might be stunned or have downtime, so that you cannot use every single gcd. In that case you can maybe make use of the extra alacrity, but I wouldn't recommend it

Get a moddable shield from the spoils of war vendor (unidentified offhand) or the GTN. Put crit enhancememt from hyde and zeek in

It means one or (very often) more than one person from the opposing team are tunnel-visioned on killing you and are making it their number one goal. They prioritize killing you over any other target around them - they will gang up on you, stay on you longer than they should etc. just to shut you down or kill you asap.

You can start out with tanking right as you play through the story. Choose Sith Warrior/Jedi Knight Origin story. Pick Juggernaut/Guardian combat style. Choose Immortal/Defense discipline (tank). You will get tanking gear as quest rewards. Make sure you equip a shield in the offhand. Have fun playing with your wife 👍🏻
