Patch 7.4 Update: Superheated Fuel got nerfed, but it is still the best tactical for Pyro. Otherwise, we are using 336 gear now instead of 332 so we'll have a bit more crit, rest stays the same, so you can still follow the rest of this guide.

Hey Ivano. Just popping in here after watching your Tier list from a few days ago. I'm currently leveling my PT (just hit 70). Out of curiosity. If you were PT'ing again (just seen your new Snip video 150k crits so assuming you're on that for a while), would you Pyro or or AP? With no accuracy needed it's good to know that I can switch out my Sorc Madness gear.

I'd like to see some more arenas with Pyro (especially hard tunnel games), I've started trying it out recently and am having a pretty difficult time when first target in 4 DPS matches. Seems like once Hydro is gone all kiting ability is kinda just kaput lol.

Yeah PT cant kite for shit without hydros. 4 dps focussing you will kill you pretty fast, no matter what you do. Only tip is to not jump in, make them come to you, through you team and hope the team does something. Use grenades and stealth scan

Is it just me or the tactical Superheated Flame, would work also on Tactics Vanguard with the "Kinetics", but not on Armaments or whatever the Bounty Hunter one is called.... or maybe the subclass attached prevent it from working

Primed Rail shot vs Mandalorian Warhead ? Is Primed Rail shot more damage outright, or is the Mandalorian Warhead a good slot for single target with the added 7% increased elemental?

Primed Railshot is more damage (7-9% of your overall damage) and keep in mind that you Warhead replaces Incendiary Missile, so you lose the dot spread.

Does SuperCommando Package works like it says on the tooltip ?, in the tooltip the shield is about 1.6M at just 326 Ilevel, so its basically a bubble for 3 seconds ....

Yes, it does :) It's really OP when you can avoid an engi sniper or AP PT burst with it. But you will lose some dps as well since it has defensive stats.

Best augments would be the Superior Critical Augment 77. Those require the MK-11 augmentation kit

Yes every class has a mirror in this game! It used to me split between Empire and Republic, but now you can run all combat styles on either faction. Pyro and Plasma are the same afaik. There are some small differences like AP not building energy lodes under power yield, but Tactics does. But there is nothing major. Mirror classes are mostly identical

Pyro will live longer, however AP will still do good damage, if you can get your burst off before you die

If people want to see one - sure. But that would probably be a short video as the only thing that changed for Pyro is that you can now run Terminator Droid (formerly known as Stealth Scan) instead of Chilled Retribution (lvl 43 choice). Chilled Retribution is still reaaaally good though, so which one your choose depends on your playstyle. Everything else in this guide stays the same for 7.3.

Partially, for PVE you need 110 % accuracy and you want to follow a set rotation for the most part.

All PowerTechs have two cc breakers. The normal one and Konto break. But the latter one needs to be specced into and only works against hard stuns
