Congrats Hayd you deserve this so so much. I know you said that you didn't want your video to be a motivational speech but these words will help so many people as well as myself. I always try my best and I don't give up on my dreams. Out of all the hobbies that I have done songwriting has been the hardest and I strive to carry on and hopefully one day reach as many people as you have with your music. I started songwriting as an outlet to get things out of my head as I never feel that I can explain myself to anyone. I haven't yet released my first song but I am working on it. Thank you so much for inspiring with your music and reminding me that I am not alone. I would love any advice for songwriting that you wish you knew when you first started that you wish you'd heard. For me personally, I feel like the hardest thing for me at the moment is when I write something and one day I like it and the more I look at it I have doubts. I can't agree more. Indeed music is very powerful and we are not very different from each other. I too feel like i am blessed in my life yet i feel difficulties. There was a little bump in my relationship and we stopped talking to each other and exactly then i found you...heard "suffocate" and i immediately sent the link to her saying "see, this is how i feel"....i was kinda happy that i could put my feelings that way. After a while we got separated and all ur songs described my situation 😅... specially " closure". It's not just a song... it's a story, atleast i can say it's my story. So ThankYou.
