The insights on customer discovery and startup journey are valuable, but leading with "$100M backed" in the title while never addressing funding feels like clickbait. The content deserves better than misleading marketing - let's prioritize authenticity over attention-grabbing headlines.

I like how all the customers of these massively VC funded companies are other companies funded by the same VCs. This is really a ponzi scheme at its core. Like the business might be okay, but they raise at massive valuations which drown out other startups who are not raising such huge rounds. This is anti-competition. This should really all be investigated by the FTC.

Agree, but whats also funny is that you don’t need massive VC funding to create a better product. I’ve tested a few ai cs products, including Decagon, Ada and Gradient Labs, and the latter delivered significantly better answers imho. And I think those guys raised a round that's like 50x smaller

@@kipan1 i agree with you 100%. almost every single time the vc funded product is worse. It's also that the smaller guys are actually building better businesses. But the VC marketing dollars makes it hard to find them at least initially.

Went to harvard. Rich parents. Always the way. Anyone can build better. But it's all about who you know or how rich daddy is. Started my own company (on your own, with your own money) 😂

I’m sorry but “in six months we’ve hit 7 figures in annual recurring revenue” is just not factually correct or true whatsoever.
@_DavidCКүн бұрын
I hear you but I think he might mean he signed enough clients for annual contracts that it surpassed 7 figures, and was able to do that in 6 months if that makes sense..

"competing against the older chatbot generations" this guy think he can beat Google, Facebook openai. But I'm sure he use their technology on his backend. Evena child nowadays can make what he made

It is definitely a very obvious idea but obviously VCs know how to get the funding and it is all network based and has nothing to do with the idea or the product

Another stupid startup founded by clueless Harvard grads who has no idea how enterprise works because he/never been in the real enterprise, Decagon is "Reimagine your customer service with conversational AI". WTF is that, any decent developers with basic knowledge in RAG, agentic/LLM can easily build the same thing using available Open Source. $ 100m for this shit? laughable!
@ysg-k5p2 күн бұрын
The only reason why he could raise 100m with his a dime a dozen OpenAI wrapper is because he is from Harvard.
