A frozen enemy takes double damage from the attack that shatters it. Fire usually deals 5 ticks of 1 damage, but enemies that have a fire weakness (plants, Gibdos, etc.) seem to stay alight until they die. Mothula spam is arguably the highest single-echo DPS - better than Lizalfos. Bombfish have 1 HP, but cannot be killed - they blow up instead. Basically unstoppable explosive bait traps. Swordfighter form upgrades don't just increase damage. You also get boosts to spin attack radius, arrow flight speed, arrow rate of fire, bomb AOE sze, and Bombchu movement speed. Enemies that deal elemental damage on contact are sometimes immune to contact damage. A lot of enemies are unable to deal ANY damage to echoes such as Buzz Blobs and Fire Keese. Torch and Freeze Slugs leave fire/ice tiles behind them as they crawl. These are separate hitboxes that deal another instance of the slug's base damage (6 dmg). Freeze Slugs are secretly OP - drag an enemy over their trails for multiple freeze-shatter double damage. Ice Wizzrobes are the strongest variant - summon them rapidly to freeze and shatter for huge damage. You can bind to a Platboom and follow it for instant levitation. This is great early on for getting over small ledges and the "stair" terrain that's all over Hyrule Field and Gerudo. Swordfighter form's shield can block a LOT of stuff. It's a useful defensive option too! You can carry a Ghirro above your head (blue wind mushroom enemy) and use its gusts to run around fast.
