There’s a really bizarre visual poetry in links actions mimicking each other. Every time he pulls out his bow, it almost seems like we’re seeing into his memories, or getting a sense of déjà vu along side him. Super weird, and fun challenge, but also kinda wild from a story telling standpoint~

This begs the question, where both games kind of designed to be similarly paced? I haven’t seen the whole vid yet, but the opening areas and cutscenes seem to fit each other. Like how when BotW Link is looking at the castle, TotK Link was experiencing the castle going crazy. It’s genuinely really cool

almost all of the zelda games follow the same format/pacing because they’re all the same story, told at different times/during different timelines it’s very interesting tho that this is a direct sequel and is the closest the characters get to actually experiencing the “history will repeat itself and you will never escape the curse”
