I think any one shot type character should start with a Tardigrade. It's the same thing they did to make the Lost an actually fun character. Letting you mess up at least once per encounter helps a lot

A challenge run if you feel up to revisiting old mods: GMO One-Armed + Renegade. On one hand, extra bullets and piercing helps with onearmed's biggest problem of damage propagation. On the other hand, you're starting with -480 damage.

Sad this character isn't very replayable because of the whole dying thing, because I'd love to see so many weapons with 20 projectiles. rocket launcher, minigun, obliterator, the list of interesting weapons just goes on and on.
