Pardon my ignorance, but wasn't Minnesota the state in which the Great Hinckley Firestorm of 1894 took place? I would've thought that was the deadliest disaster. That was insane. A fire so intense that it created its own storms, melted barrels of nails into solid masses, spread faster than horses could run, etc.

Dang. Hinckley fire is listed as the 2nd deadliest wildfire on record and the cloquet one the 3rd. Just on my mind because of the Lahaina fire. Its listed as 7 but they haven yet found the 1300 missing people. The news isnt saying how bad it really is

I was aware of the Hinckley fire because thats been our pitstop going upnorth but i haven't heard of this fire.
