100th Bayview to Mackinac 2024

The historic 100th Bayview to Mackinac Race, from the perspective of Advantage and its sailors.
334 boats participated in this year's Mackinac Race. Although we did not encounter extreme weather, the race tested the patience and will of all sailors. There were almost six hours during the race when the entire fleet was stalled on Lake Huron due to a lack of wind, at times showing a boat speed of 0.00 knots. The race took Advantage nearly 50 hours, and I have never been happier to see the island at the end of a race. Thank you to our amazing skipper and crew for another fantastic Mackinac Race.
