Congrats Dylan on the 100th post - been following you since the beginning. Great video and great looking NEIPA. Looking forward to the next video (maybe before the new year?). Wishing you all the best this Holiday Season.

Congratulations on the 100th video. I also have the B40. The default maxinium heating setting during mash mode is 50%. This is to reduce the risk of burning on the elements but can be changed in the settings if you want to risk a higher setting. To heat up faster during mash steps you can try running the pump at 100% without any circulation through the mash manifold during the mash step phase. As an alternative you can hold back some of the strike water eg 4 litres then add it into the mash as boiling water at the start of the mash step.

Please, can you tell me the type of connection you have at the bottom of your Grainfather Conical? It would simplify transfers for me.

Hi, have a look at the link below, I used this and added a 90 degree elbow as there's not much space for the hose to bend naturally in my case. www.themaltmiller.co.uk/product/john-guest-3-8-push-fit-to-3-8-bsp-adapter-pi011213s/
