Hi all!
Finally time for a giveaway! This is just a big thank you to all who have kept up with me on my KZbin channel!! Your support means the world to me ....and I am just so darn grateful!! Anywho ... the giveaway is for those in the US ONLY... but don't worry as I will do more giveaways in the future for other areas of the world! All you have to do to enter is leave a comment stating what color you think is my fave to paint with!! it doesn't have to be correct but Im just curious what answers I'll get!! Massive 40x60 Cloud Pour mat, as well as my stir sticks, Piggy Paddles and all my amazing piggies are from Fluid Art Co! www.fluid-art.co
Colors used: **
Vallejo Pearl Medium Cloud mix:
1 part Artist Loft Soft Body White acrylic
1 Part Vallejo Pearl medium
2 parts American Floetrol
water to thin to consistency of colors if needed
3 second trace in the cup
Colors:
Paynes Grey Amsterdam
Steel Blue
Arctic
** This Little Piggy: Hammerhead, Meteorite, Sterling
Tube colors all mix 2 to 3 parts American Floetrol to 1 part paint....water added just to get all the consistencies the same.( 3 second trace ) ** I did add a few Drops of Gac 100 to ultramarine, blueish purple and fluorescent violet
This Little Piggy pigments mix below:
Dry pigment dispersed in Liquitex high gloss varnish or Jo Sonja then added to Sax Gel Medium. Stir well to incorporate....should look like a tube paint consistency ...then add American Floetrol and mix well. Colors will look more muted in the cup but will dry perfectly with all the shine!

I LOVE that first one but the second one was pretty too. #1 reminds me of a view of the earth from outer space with that negative space. I think your favorite color is any form of blue!💙

Wow! The first pour looks, to me, like clouds and the atmosphere above the curve of Earth - Love it 🌏 Ethereal! I'm guessing that your favorite color is turquoise. I keep hearing in my head "Ilove this color!" In your videos. I know you love your blues but ooofff so many. I love when you use bluish green by Amsterdam or Indigo or Prussian Blue. Let me preface this by saying, I’m not stalking you, I’ve just watched so many of your videos! Favorite color: Indigo or Paynes Gray. Favorite and most underrated Piggy: Lakeside. Pinks are not really you’re thing, even though you’ve used them quite beautifully in several pours. I also think the mint colors are a happy place for you. I need to order some of that arctic color, it’s beautiful! Happy pouring, Tiffany!

Tiffany, have you ever tried using Satin enamel mixed with a metallic paint? Like silver? Do you think it would work?

I'm not a huge fan of Satin enamels because of the chalkiness. I used it in the past but not with metallics. The Vallejo is actually a pearl white medium so it helps keeps the shine of the metallic cloud mix. If you are adding satin enamels to metallic you might get some clouding ( absolutely not certain) but the chalkiness of the satin enamel will dull the metallic pigment in the metallic paint. It will work against it if that makes sense.

@@WillieBStudios Oh yes, I forgot, you don't use Satin Enamel. Yes, that totally makes sense. Could I put a tiny bit of regular paint in the Vallejo? Like make a light grey? I live in Canada and Vallejo is almost impossible to find, but I do order from Blicks so I do have some. Satin Enamels are hard to find as well. Michaels doesn't carry then anymore.

You don't need to add color to the cloud mix to make it grey ...just layer a black beside it in the cup...that's what I do for "storm clouds". If you wanted to do it the other way you could...but I cant guarantee the results...and also if you do try it ..I would add a few drops of a high quality fluid acrylic to turn the cloud mix grey.

@@WillieBStudios Ok thank you!! I'm making a blue cloud pour for my Grandson and his wife for a clock and I can't decide if I want the white in there or just blues and greys and silver, I guess a white would look good too to add more contrast! Thank you for all your advise!
