I know. I feel the same way. I remember watching this movie as early as 1994-'95 when I was about 3 or 4. As a little kid, you never noticed or appreciated the attention to the little details, even something as simple as illustrating simple vehicle movements in hand-drawn illustration is not a simple feat. They managed to capture what I would say are semi-realistic vehicle movements without distorting vehicle proportions, something that other shows like "King of the Hill," fail to do. I know that hand drawing anatomically correct people and animals in different poses from different angles such as "forced camera views" pose their own challenges, but illustrating vehicle in motion by hand without the aid of CGI and trying maintain a rigid structure that is in motion without distorting it or not making it appear too cartoony is a real challenge. I have illustrated plenty of traditional art in my past including cars and trucks that were pretty-good for a beginner part-time hobbyist artist, but I have never animated. That, to me, is next-level and I'd have hard time accomplishing that without distortion while trying to execute vehicle movements.

Fun fact, they animated the cars by rotoscoping, where they used scale models of the cars and filmed them, and the artists traced over the still images. If this was more adult-themed, I believe Cruella would finally snap and lose whatever iota of sanity she has left all the while becoming a psychopath to where she will trudge through the snow all the way back to London, and kill both Roger and Anita in cold-blood at their home along with attempting to recapture all of the puppies again to get what she wants. Heck, she'd even kill God know how many cops who are on her tail and she'd also ignore the fact that she's under arrest for her crimes all the while resisting arrest. After her arrest, Cruella would be completely uncooperative with the police to the point of attacking all of her interrogators like a savage and rabid animal, which the cops will charge her with assault. For hours and hours of being uncooperative, it becomes clear that Cruella will be charged with every single crime she has committed in order to illegally create a fur coat made from dog skin along with first-degree murder against Roger, Anita, and other cops she killed. In court, she's STILL uncooperative to the point of attacking the prosecutors, solicitors, lawyers, etc. to which she is now charged with contempt in court and finally given the death sentence after the judge, jury, and everybody else in the courthouse finally see the psychopathic bitch she is.

I was 4 when I saw this film, Cruella Deville scary woman in her two tone black and red car. At 5, I was sitting in the back of a MK1 Ford Zodiac also two tone Black and Red, belonging to my father's bit of stuff Elsie Wybourne. She was so Cruella Deville what with her car, which had Leppard skin seat covers, Leppard skin steering wheel cover and she wore a Leppard skin coat to match, with the 50s style Cruella Deville make up, red lippy black liner, and a black beauty spot. All scary stuff to a 5yr old lol 😂 I have a great fondness for this film, perhaps for the wrong reasons. Cruella and Elsie could have been sisters lol 😂

This scene gave me the most brutal recurring nightmare when I was a kid. It always started the same....Me playing off to the side of the long gravel driveway when I would hear the screeching tires of her car, followed by her fishtailing down the driveway, and finally launching out of the windshield at me with the face at (around) 2:20 When I have told people about that nightmare, they always laugh.....But i'll tell ya, I was never laughing after it would snap me awake on a near nightly basis lol. Pretty sure this scene gave me some sort of PTSD as a kid because I hated falling asleep. Good times!
