You know back then I heard that other actresses were considered for the role to play Cruella De Vil like Sigourney Weaver, Cathy Moriarty, Catherine O' Hara, Susan Sarandon or Geena Davis but I think Glenn Close was like the perfect actress and the perfect role to play Cruella De Vil because she played Cruella pretty awesome and very well even villainous.

This might surprise you, but John Hughes has made more money from this movie than any other movie in his career, because his contract for the movie itself, gave him a piece of the merchandising profits. Somehow, it's rather unique to see him adapt a Disney film like this (since he's been involved with our favorite and classic films of the 80s and 90s), but he wanted to do so, since he admitted that he always loved watching Disney animated films while very young. Therefore, he got to live the dream of his childhood, with this movie (even though it was really just a brief combination of Home Alone, Dennis the Menace, and Baby's Day Out). If he were alive today, I'd commend him for how he managed to pull this off and have himself be a part of the Walt Disney legacy. Miss you, Hughes!

You know I'm surprised that people forget that one of the first ever live action Disney remakes was 101 Dalmatians from 1996 and that jungle book 2016 was not the first time they made a live action jungle book movie but the third and I say that because back in 1994 Disney did do a live action jungle book and in 98 did a live action direct to video movie. Saying that 2010 Alice in wonderland or 2014 Maleificent or 2015 Cinderella started the live remake Animated Disney movie trend, are completely wrong cause it was actually the pre-Every background must be computer generated era that started it along with if a live action sequel to a live action remake looks like an obvious cash grab than it is and move on. However if we really want to know if it works the other way around well it does with Disney's 2012's stop motion Tim Burton movie Frankenweniee an animated (pun intended) remake of Tim's live action short film from his time at Disney just before he went to become the director we know today. And you know what aside from the stop motion movie I find the live action versions of Dalmatians,Jungle book(2016), and dumbo as the only films that live up to the originals with an add Maleificent and Cinderella not bad but close. Yes Tim's version of Alice is not bad it's just average and more of sequel/remake since it did try it's best that it was the same character just older. With that said what do I give the remake of 101 Dalmatians? Solid 8.5/10.
