Another great video. One of our mainline operators we rented a zero clearance excavator, he didn't like it because it was to rocky ( rock & forth ) , I don't know & didn't see it just repeating what he said. Quick changes are nice.

It is very common for zero swings to rock. they don't have enough counterweight in the back. It moves the center of gravity to the front of the rig. It is annoying.

Enjoyed your videos. Sad you got (kind of) shut down by the company. But, somehow i could see that coming with these "bigger" companies. Especially when Lawyers get involved and ramifications of video-ing other workers/employees (ie. incase of an accident-tough that might help u & any worker). Is The other pipe on top of your main a lateral that goes to the old main can’t be water looks like SDR 35 8 or 6 in?

That was a repair to the old line so we culd go back to gravity if needed. the old line was in the top of our pipe so we made room by making it smaller. The old line will be filled with slury at a later time.

Question how long does it normally take say the city to dig a man hole? I'm swapping from septic to city sewer and payed them for the manhole and tap over a month ago they had a Crew out for 1 morning 4 or 5 guys to dig 2 small holes and spray paint some line markers just curious to see if this is way to long to wait?

Can I use your name in the video? how far is your house from the city sewer system? Do you know if the phone lines are underground or on poles the same question as the cable TV/gas lines in the area. If willing your address so I can get an overhead view of your property. Or you can google it yourself and send a screenshot of your property. Any information you can send will help with the explanation.

I loved the video and I’m so glad you’re doing it because I want people to see what we do and it’s not easy work. I think you are the only one on KZbin that actually has a pipelaying channel so that’s great I know the videos are hard to make people don’t realize because I have a friend that makes them and he said it’s exhausting.
