Small fact, Elon Musk is from South Africa yet we cannot buy a Tesla here... I had to edit this... I know all the reasons why we don't have Tesla's in South Africa. This was merely just a statement saying that we cannot buy them here.- (Read the goddamn first 2 words) It is a factual statement not a question on why we cannot buy them)

And the "whites own 72% of farm land".. Whites own 70% of 30%.. The rest is owned by the black government..
@QuentinWatt
@QuentinWatt 5 жыл бұрын
@@scruffasax Not quite true. You have to break it down to farm land, sectional titles (part ownership in estates), urban land and the rest. Whites own the largest portion in each category, but the gap is muuch smaller with urban land and estates. The 70% statistic only applies to farm lands.
@scruffasax

@@QuentinWatt I like your youtube channel, you should upload more.. With That out of the way... As I know it, the government owns the majority of the farmland, I got the 70-30 stat from an interview Ernst roets did.. @lwandile dube not everyone is as "lucky" as you. There are 60 REPORTED murders per day , 114 REPORTED rape incidents per day , 444 REPORTED assaults per day , 142 REPORTED common robberies per day , 605 house robberies per day , not to mention the thousands of petty crimes we face DAILY. And all of this based on reports , MOST people dont reported shit in south africa , why ? Because nothing fucking happens. The crime in South Africa is one of THE highest in the world. Nothing wrong with the country itself , just the people managing it. Eskom is a load of shit , we have loadshedding most of the year , our water is only clean in some places , the roads are terrible , and yet you defend this country like its top class ? Nothing works here , because if it where we would be a 1st world country , and sadly we are far from that. And if you find it difficult to believe my statistics , do yourself a favor and research. We are THIRD on the list for worst crime and crime rates in the WORLD. Open your eyes , its not always sunshine and rainbows.

Hanro50 - Not surprised to hear that. I’m from the American south where grilling and BBQ is a big deal and still my favorite thing I’ve ever had off a grill is a boerwors in a bun with a sort of sweet onion relish got outside a butcher shop in Pretoria one afternoon. So much love for biltong, braai, grilled springbok, and especially boerwors! Love SA so much.

The historical relationships and interactions between the foraging, herding and farming societies is more complicated than Bantu-speaking groups displacing Khoekhoe and Bushman groups. Things like the clicks in Xhosa and Zulu and the traditional cattle-based economic cultures, for example, derive from the mixing and absorption of pastoralist Khoekhoe into agriculturalist Bantu-speaking communities. Also, during colonisation, the Dutch brought in thousands of Africans and Asians as slaves. South Africans classified/identifying as Coloured are the descendants of those slaves as well as the remaining Khoekhoe and Bushman people who were living within the Cape Colony. They also make up the majority of Afrikaans-speakers and Afrikaans owes much of its development to the Dutch of the slaves and Khoekhoe.

Yebo GoGo. Thank you. Namaste 🙏🏼. *Please also note:* "The first Indians arrived during the Dutch colonial era, as slaves, in *1684* ." The European soliders from Cape married them. ..and i have noticed these similarities( or attractions ) , though didn't really get into it.. ( now that WiFi and smartphones are the norm , here goes) ..the Indians where of the Religions Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Zoorastrain. My ancestors came later with the British Raj, in *1890* , as company workers. ( The workers could not return home, due to the anglo-boer war off 1899 and then the world war of 1914. ) ..but prior to this, The *Out off Africa* theory states, Africa and India are related. The Pangaea , broke up 250million years ago from our east cost of Africa, and travelled via continental drifting until reaching Asia off today.... Our New year(Hindi) is in April under the Vikram Samvat calendar which is now at 2076. The Gujarati people have their new year on another day. The celebrations costly, because we recognise all forms of God, which link back to Matsya and Manu ( of the great flood)...long story here.

Majority of Afrikaans people are not white. Also, Afrikaans is born from Dutch and the Khoi & San languages. It is a multi continental language. There is even a monument to this (for now). "Afrikaans is a creole language that evolved during the 19th century. The majority of its roots can be found in Dutch. While the rest is a mixture of seafarer variants of Malay, Portuguese and Indonesian and the indigenous Khoi-Khoin and San languages."
