I added corrections to my previous comment but I figured it would be best to address them separately - Regarding Merlin's race I made a mistake due to a translation error I believed was fact, and we still don't technically know what she is actually considered because of this. We don't even know for sure if she was born human, or if being born with infinity makes you something else entirely. She was also born into a metropolis of sages, meaning that being a sage itself could be considered a race similar to druids. Merlin was "blessed" with information from the supreme goddess and the demon king before she betrayed them. But was it only information? It was also stated in 249 that both the demon king and the supreme goddess provided her with "Supreme Protection" This is where the "blessing" aspect could have came in. These blessings could have also potentially altered Merlin's race to become some sort of hybrid or nephalem, but it's fairly unlikely at this point. ----- If this were the case it would be something similar to Ban, where he was once human, but is now an immortal. Merlin could have received these blessings and became something else entirely for all we know. Bottom line, we still don't have a clear answer and I was wrong to assume. When I originally read 249 I must've turned my brain off when it came to her backstory. My bad guys. Also I originally thought Shonen Jump and Weekly Shonen Magazine were the same thing, which honestly finding out they are two different things explains a lot. - So The Seven Deadly Sins is serialized under Weekly Shonen Magazine, and not Shonen Jump! Sorry for the confusion, and I appreciate the corrections guys!

My favorite sin from the seven deadly sins is Meliodas the dragon sin of wrath. I like characters with sad tragic backstory. Meliodas has been suffering for 3,000 years because of a curse placed by the demon king. Even so he still is a fun loving guy. He’s kind to everyone and is very forgiving.
