It’s not the character was going to be but rather the design/appearance of her possibly being an older design for makoto or a character that was cut incredibly early on. After rejecting it and deciding makoto as we know will be the smarts of the team they looked at this old design and thought why not repurpose it as a confidant which lead to it being hifumi, how she is now was never intended to be a phantom thief

52. Not entirely. They wanted to make another brains of the PT after making Makoto they sketched a design but later scrapped it. When they were making Confidant designs they looked at the old sketch they made and that's how we got Hifumi. They gave some of the scrapped character's traits and gave them to Makoto instead. I mainly wanted to point this out because people will say that Makoto took her place which isn't the case. Makoto and the original concept for Hifumi were originally both on the team. 63. Yeah it's more convenient to just go the options menu instead of needing a undub iso. 94. The funniest thing to me is that apparently Chris Sabat is Reji Kido in P1. Y'know the english voice of Vegeta, Piccolo, All Might, That sword guy from One Piece has done voice work for Persona and it's in the game where they don't talk except for battle grunts. 101. Fun fact in Persona 3 portable you can date Aigis in the female character route. For Aigis character it makes sense that Aigis doesn't care what gender the main character is she will love the main character anyway. Making Bonds with other characters is what makes Persona Persona so LGBT relationships and characters is a possibility for future games. There are a few characters that are already in the LGBT Community, Kanji is straight, for example

Ngl I feel like persona 1 and 2 (both of 2’s games) won’t get a remake but instead a remaster. I mean I don’t mind a remaster as long as they lower that enemy encounter rate a bit. Like you take two steps and bam you are in a battle in 1 and in 2 you can get away with a few more steps before you are thrown into a battle lol but I feel like persona 4 is most likely the next remake while 1 and 2 will get remasters. But I’d love a remake of 1 and 2 but honestly idk how they would go about that, especially with 2. I think eventually there will be a Persona 1 and 2 remake at some point, but I think there will be a Persona 4 remake first. Persona 1 and 2 are still shin megami tensei spin-offs so it needs a lot of changes to sell it to fans of the modern trilogy. Although 4 doesn't need a remake it will probably sell great and it will be super easy to make the game because the original 4 is a rom hack of 3 your uncle is literally a skin for Akihiko 3d model. so they can use a lot of assets from 3 Reload. And 4 is great but not perfect so things like the improvements of tartarus and fully voiced social links will be great for the game

I've heard a lot of good things about 2 but most people started with 5 so it's going to be hard for people to play 1 and 2 even if it's a remake. if they want to make a remake they have to change a lot of things probably make social links for the game so that all fans who started with 5 have a reason to play the remake. That's why I think persona 4 is going to get a remake first

If they are going to remake 1 and 2 then they technically have to remake 3 games. 4 is going to be much easier because they can use a lot of assets from 3 reload and it will probably sell very well. Atlus is a company and companies want your money and a game that only takes a year or two to be made and will sell very well with no risk whatsoever.
