Fact # 29 is a Sad Truth that I didn't know for many years! As you stated here, the NBC Network DID want to continue producing the 1960's Batman TV show after it was cancelled. BUT by the time NBC made their offer, the shows sets had already been torn down. That was a damned shame. I'm sure I can speak for many other Bat fans; It would've been great to have had that many more episodes of the Batman show to enjoy all these years later.

Bob Kane, co-creator of Batman, said that Val Kilmer's Batman was the best he's seen but the never saw Bale or Affleck under the cape n cowl but he did think he was better then West, Keaton, or Clooney. that's surprising bc I would've thought Keaton's Batman would've been Kane's favorite but I guess NOT. Actuallt here is fact 102 - The area where Gotham is located is based on the state of Massachusetts. This is because Gotham was originally based on Boston. The writers where probably big fans of H. P. Lovecraft as many of the place names are based on areas in Lovecraft's work. Arkham (as in the asylum) is named after the town/city where most of Lovecraft's novels are based.
