Those three magical words, "Pass In Review", were the balm that awoke our stiff legs after standing in formation for some time. We all had unwieldy cadence until our legs began to awake.

And they marched at just over 120 beats per minute like you should. You see very few military parades at that up tempo in the US military anymore.

They do not march pretty and salute even worse but do not fuck with the 101st Airborne Division.This is not an outfit you want opposite you in combat as many have found out over the years. Airborne!

The Army marches poorly. Has so since I was a kid in the 50s. They seem to put their training time in on other perhaps more important things. 😊❤️🇺🇸

I this really the storied 101st Airborne, passing in review without rifles and wearing ugly-pattern sloppy camo battle dress and those ugly roughout boots,...?!! I hardly recognize this as the same Army I so proudly served ! I have passed in review at least four times, one a full division review, in OD battle dress, camo-covered steel helmets, shined black combat boots, and our M-16s at sling arms.

Quit your bellyaching and enjoy the parade. So says this retired Army Chief Warrant Officer Four who was assigned to the 101st Division from 1999-2001. There's always one whiner in every platoon...
@Bonzi_Buddy3 жыл бұрын
@@RobertPWills "Military Intelligence" ... yeah, we all know the joke about that phrase. Go pound sand, walking warrant. Go defend your current pals miserable performance in Afghanistan. That is a direct failure of the US President and intelligence assets who either didn't convey how woefully inadequate the Afghan army was to defend itself without US support that it fell without a real fight. Typical leftist probably... don't like people have opinions that aren't their own. Must really kill ya.
