Sir, I appreciate your way of highlighting the failed justice system. We need to rewrite all legislation to benefit the public. Here everything is the same as you have given an example. Distortion of the crime scene by LEAs is everyday business. The judge gets a false investigation report so how can he gives the correct judgment. We've to start from zero in almost all sectors for all good things to see in our country, Pakistan. Thank you for your good work. Highly appreciated!

Your video provides a great root cause analysis of sorry state of justice system. The legislators are least interested in enacting or changing the outdated laws, the law enforcement agencies are underfunded and are too corrupt to gather the evidence to build a solid case. However, the judges and lawyers are also from the same society and share some of the blame as well, there are no holy cows here.

This justice system is the outcome of 3years part time LLB. (Lawers+judges). Now we have five year full time LLB. Only top level students will be selected now. AFTER 10 years justice system will be in the hands of these students. Hope for the best

Thank you dear Ashir for sharing your thoughts. We need a rigorous accountability system without any discrimination. Legal and police reforms are required to revive our justice system. The role of the public prosecutor is inefficient and ineffective in Pakistan. For instance in European Countries, public prosecutors play an important role and the police are unable to do corruption. We shall enhance such mechanism in Pakistan. There is a need to fix the time limit for upper and lower courts' judges to decide the cases otherwise they shall hold responsible and accountable. I agree that law making not being efficient and effective is a true issue. But in my humble opinion, if you look statistically, the magnitude of the qanoon-sazi being the impediment to justice is iota keepin in reference the overall justice problem. I could be wrong but do the issues that common man faces like rent, theft etc also has qanoon sazi problem or something else? Also What about the conviction rate issue you mentioned in another video comparing it with Japan, is it due to lawmakers?

More and more cases of mobile snatching and house robberies by policemen in Karachi are happening. In the name of implementing COVID-19 SOPs, police has increased their bribes, and if someone refuses, police registers an FIR within 15 minutes. Once FIR has been registered, not only an individual cannot get released immediately but also spends 3 to 4 times more than the bribe which was asked in the first place. The situation of courts is so bad that people are getting injured and killed almost every other day inside its premises. The tipping point has been crossed, now there is no chance of any improvement. Rather the decline will only accelerate.

You are right about irresponsibility of legislature, but most of our MNAs, MPAs and Senators are unable to read the bill, even in Urdu some members can't.Those who can read, have not time for it.They have other priorities to pursue.When Musharraf introduced an amendment for eligibility of a assembly member that at least he/ she must be graduate, there was too loud noise against that, that it was withdrawn.
