Crazy. I just replaced the 220 V plug on my compressor last week. Took me almost 45 minutes screwing with it to get it right.

they make a boot to go over the male or female Leviton twist locks if you want to get it separate. Really only used for weatherproof applications. you're inside you'll be fine.

I don't feel so alone now...It takes me an hour to put a cord and a plug on a machine because I refuse to go to the hardware store and use what I have on hand too.

i am still working on them. they should be working somewhat for now. i think the old wires have some bad connections in them. the phones work off and on at times. a job in progress. tatro

problem is using a 5 wire SJO cord instead of a 4 wire...so it fits proper into the plug.
