Gotta tell ya, seeing the look on Brad’s face yesterday (not because you scared him), and hearing you talk about how you miss your yard, brings me back…. I used to regularly spend 100+ nights/yr on the road. It’s tough, but you do what you need to do. However, even though I couldn’t remember where I was waking up more times than I can count, I tried to make the best of every day, go exploring, and never eat more than one meal a day in my hotel. This series of vlogs help me remember those days in a good way. Love what you’re doing- you are good karma, friend! 🎸🐶

Now that was just gold. Two favorite cats from different worlds, humble and reverent, just digging on each other. Reminds me of the story about Jeff Porcaro and Mike Baird hanging together and playing each others' recordings, saying, "Yeah!! That's you, man!" It doesn't get any better than that, and it doesn't get any better than this.

actually, Lee's lawn routine is akin to my bent for using sling blade and reel mower on my new South Carolina habitat. Had a young cat walking by ask, "you're cutting grass? what is that you're using?" i explained the sling blade, and what it's good for, tho recognize that my "…in August i'll add reel mower to get lower to the ground" was meaningless, since he's surely never seen a lawnmower that used neither gas nor AC - human-powered lawn management is beyond 21st century comprehension!

Hi Lee!! Your get togethers with Brad are the best. First, here are two highly skilled professional musicians talking about the thing that makes life meaningful to them, which is music. Both of you are very similar in the way you are so humble and not at all egotistical considering how deep you've gone in your careers, you most of all Lee. And watching and listening to the two of you discuss not just the tour but just life in general like yesterday when Brad was in kind of a funk you seem like people anyone would very much enjoy talking to and hanging with. I've had the pleasure of chatting with you a couple of times Lee and I sure hope I'll have more opportunities! Brad seems a lot like you where all you need is "Hello, how are you?" and you would feel like we've been friends for a long time. Anyway, I just had to compliment the both of you for being the kind and personable gentlemen you are. I'm looking forward to your venue tour video a little later. Take it easy my friend !!

Such a great sound coming down that alley! That was an afternoon I hope I remember all my life. 90 minutes shooting the breeze with my wife and one of my musical heroes on the streets of my hometown. In the midst of that we heard this amazing music coming from the alley beside the theater. Lee, it was just a delight to hang for a bit, snap a few photos with Scott LaFaro’s street sign, and then be able to send you all on your way after the show. Always the best to you.

I think Leland your trying to develop a long term friendship with Brad Leali. And it seems that you both have so much in common. I think its cool and I hope a real long term friendship is kindled, as it would beneficial for the both of you. Brad strikes me as a genuine dude with a real passion for his music seeking excellence in playing his saxophone. But I think there's way more real good stuff about himself he hides from most people. Which means he's careful and wise, two qualities I dig. You seem to have more energy today, and I hope yesterday's concert went well. As always stay well and be safe!!

@@lastnamefirst4035 Sue, 😊 How is it going. I'm listening to part of a long you tube upload from a few days ago that I just couldn't catch until later. Listening in sections of two hours at double speed. It is a friend playing something called an otome, I think it must be another form of anime, where it can change at certain points depending on choices in a game playing role I guess. There's a group streaming with other acquaintances of blind you tubers that love current or more recent anime and try to introduce others to it. Sometimes it's a group MukBang and sometimes there's no topic, depending who hosts the stream. They're trying to get me to stream, but I haven't yet. There's a learning curve. I've not said no all together. I can see what they like about anime. It's more described by nature. They know that I could probably be their grandma. Hee! The only anime I knew was Speed Racer.

He plays so well....he reminds me of growing up close to New Orleans, I used to love to listen to this one sax guy who played his Sax most nights between the big buildings out around the French Quarter, in the mid to late '70s.
