This dude ! Man.. I could say when Jeff porcaro was born ..., (He was in the pocket). Always in time, flawless , and with a metronome in his head. I wish he was here today.

Both Porcaro brothers are two of my favorite musicians ever! Right on top there with many other greats.

For me also he has been the best drummer. And i hve made some comparisons with Vinnie Colauitta and Steve GAdd, and i still think he has been the greatest drummer.
@benfrewin9926 Жыл бұрын
He was by far the most versatile. To my mind, that made him the best session drummer there's ever been..
@IronMan-tk8uc10 ай бұрын
Gadd is great but there's something the groove of Porcaro and Colauita that just feels completely different and unique! And both Jeff and Vinnie respected each other deeply!

I always felt Jeff, Vinnie, and Phil Gould (Level 42) were cut from a similar cloth. But doing a deep dive on Mike Mangini, I can even hear a "Jeff approach" wit him too.

In fact, I have no idea about that record, just found the video and shared it. Sorry!

@@ClaudioRochaBass Radioactive - Ceremony of Innocence, recorded in 1992, released in 2001. Probably the last record Jeff worked on. Tommy Denander, the guitar player, put this record together with probably everyone who had played in Toto up to that point - including singers (and except Luke). And some other greats as well.
@marksacher38668 ай бұрын
Why is this in Black and White???? This was not in 1940!
@CapOlimar2 ай бұрын
Because it was recorded in 1992, on film no less. Probably cheaper, or whoever shot the video chose to shoot it that way.
@80eren14 жыл бұрын
I already put this video on KZbin half a year ago. What's the point of you putting it up, too??
