For those of you that are surprised: Backstory of this sketch was that in 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards, Kanye West interrupted the victory speech of Justice and Simian who won the Best Video Award and said he deserved to win with his video ''Touch the Sky'' with saying "If I don't win, the awards show loses''. While it became controversial, it would be later nothing compared to his speech to Taylor Swift in 2009.

I wonder if referring to it as the peace price was scripted, adlib or flub. Either way, this is pretty funny, and as much as I generally fail to get the appeal of Kanye's works (and occasional attitude), I have to tip the imaginary hat to this. According to Seth Meyers, Kanye pitched the basic idea for this sketch, which goes to show that at least he's got some self-awareness in hindsight (which he seems to be not so good at in the moment).
