106" Raven Control Horn Installation

This video is the second of the 106" Raven videos, it is the first steps of the build covering the way install the control horns. With some prep work, this can be a quick and efficient process.

Where did you get the jig for the rudder control horns? The slots on my Raven rudder are giving me some trouble.

I actually just modified a jig from an extreme flight plane. You could make one using some ca and popsicle sticks since it’s just for alignment and there is no pressure on it. It’s really tricky without a jig.

@@RC-Air Thanks, I will fabricate something, the slots near the hinge line don't each seem to be flat 90s

What I did was lined up the horn stays with the back edge of the bevel. They are not exactly at the line but the horns are pushed as far back as I can get them that seems to line up the holes with the hinge line.
