1060 Case Combine

A great machine: a friend of my family had one and unfortunately he had a tragic accident with it, in which he died. By then, I had bought a second-hand one, (to which they had installed a Perkins 6-354 Diesel engine). Harvest with it, about 10 seasons, doing between 250 to 400 hectares each year. With that motor, it works with great capacity and economy. After being stored for 10 more years in a shed, I sold it and to this day, it is still working. A marvel. Greetings from Uruguay.

At one time we had a few Case dealers around. Soo there were some 600 Case combines locally. They were reliable but as being small 2 row corn machines, they were very slow to get finished with. I always thought that I'd like one of the last 1660 s before they quit building combines. Never saw one around here though.

Wow awsome we have old case farm tractors we fixed up are we have a old 530 case and a730 case great tracters so i imagin the combines where great we have newer case tractors and not as happy as we are with the old 30 flanbo red and desert tan macheanery great seing some one still runing this sound just like my 530

I loved it my grandfather his 2bd combine was a J I Case 1660.

12' straight head, that's it? We put 15' swath thru a 600 for years.
