it is ZP340 heat sink compound or thermal paste it is similar to DOWSIL 340 heat sink compound it improves thermal conductivity for fast heat transfer

Hi, I have modified a crt tv SMPS transformer for getting 240 v output with minimum 500 mA out . I winded secondary with 22 swg wire and given a Feedback with TL 431. I'm getting output 240 v but current is very low. What to do.

If the voltage drops when we add a load what could be the problem?

in this condition the SMPS is going in current limit mode 1. might be its error amplifier needs adjustment 2. might be its VCC are higher, on adding load, the power supply goes in Over load protection 3. might be current sense circuit is providing more volatge. which causes to move PWM controller in current limit mode

right but we need to monitor output voltage variation caused by the load. it is called LOAD REGULATION first monitor volatge then connect load and then monitor voltage variation caused by load

@@HaseebElectronics good test, but I had a case when the smps started well without a load and stabilized the voltage well when connecting a load after the start, but did't start with a load already connected.
