Haha, obviously they’ve put out plenty of original stuff this past century, but it’s fun to see them take their classic formula, and turn it on it’s head a bit to celebrate ten decades of filmmaking. Personal Changes to Make to "Wish" *Change the title to "Asha's Wish" *Make Asha's friends be her adopted siblings so their bond would be more personal. *Change the name of the kingdom from "Rosas" to "Estrella" (to go with the star theme). *It's not just her grandfather's wish that Asha is considered about, but everyone she knows. *Make Amaya a villain like her husband (as originally planned). *Make the villain(s) have a personal connection with Asha (like say they killed the original king & queen aka Asha's parents). *Have the message be "Sometimes you don't just need to wish for something to happen, you'll have to make it happen, now or never."

Awesome changes/rewrites! - I love the new name of the kingdom Estrella! - I like the idea of Asha's friends being her adopted siblings. Going a step further and to bring in another fairy tale (that'd probably never be made into a film); make Asha and her adopted siblings the kids from The Old Woman Who Loved in a Shoe rhyme from Mother Goose. - If Asha was the former king and queen's daughter, then I'd make Sabino Dalhia's grandfather (biological, bot adopted). - Love the new addition to the film's message. - Make there some sort of legend of the star guiding the people who built Estrella, so there's an actual reason why Ash wishes on it. - Making Amaya a twist villain (she trucks Asha into thinking she's on her side only to betray her) would be perfect.

Everyone is a expert now at animation and writing and say they can do better or want this, but even if they got that they would still have complaints. People want them to go back to the basics but then people who always expect next level things from movies would complain, it’s a no win situation all the time now days with people easily able to share their opinions worldwide behind a screen

I really loved this film. It emotionally impacted me and my friend so hard. I cried like a baby for 5 days straight, especially when I replayed "A wish worth making." I feel like people get stuck on superficial details while ignoring how profound this movie really is. People call this movie "lazy" when it isn't. Its simple. Its beautiful simple and really doesn't try to be anything other than a thread that ties all Disney movies together which i think it does beautiful. I, really grateful this movie exist.

I loved Wish so much, I saw it 9 times in theaters. That's a new theatrical record of mine. I thought it was overall a great homage to 100 Years of Disney Animation and I love that they told an original story while doing so. What I loved most about the visuals was the Eyvind Earle inspired forest backgrounds. Very Sleeping Beauty like, everything looked so gorgeous on the big screen. Wish is pretty high in my ranking of 62 films, so far it's #16 in my ranking.

Despite the many Easter egs and references in this film and even though it has a good premise, this film is unfortunately executed in an immature and somewhat shallow manner and the film is burdened by the title of Disney's 100th anniversary, causing high expectations for this film Unfortunately, the plot presented in this film seems ordinary. If they reuse the initial story where star can turn into a human, the evil queen Amaya, the death of Sabino, make hope on the tree of hope, and at all cos is a love song duet between asha and star boy and does not eliminate the sad story in the initial concept hope this film can definitely reach break even in Unfortunately the studio actually used the second concept as we see now at the box office. It's really a shame that now I only wish the Wish film had used the original concept but time can't be turned back😭😭🙂😓😓
