That was a really neat rest area at the end. They put a lot of thought in to it....even down to the playground....families with little kids on road trips.....they can tire the little ones out and stretch their legs...great thinking! its weird, Texas does that a lot, they lay down this gravel mixture, then they run a grinder over it to make the rocks smooth for road traffic. its like that procedure they do, "if you want that kind of floor in your shower". pour gravel for the shower floor then grind it to smoothness, only seen it done once, for a school shower area.

My wife used to work for that Weatherford Pilot. Personally I hate the place. I told her to quit or I would go up there and tell them she quit. Got tired of her coming home complaining about the place every day. For a dually driver they suck cause the front lot is too small and only have diesel on the ends. I used to live within 2 miles of there. I'm north in Springtown now. If you ever need anything passing through the area just give me a shout. Keep up the good work

i started watching you on my own when I saw your truck in the menu. I also used to watch Trucker Who, but I stopped watching him when he started doing live. I did find out Trucker Who has some health issues and since stopped working for Millis and I guess stopped making videos. Having said that, Trucker Who is a nice guy, clean, and caring, and a good dedicated truck driver.

Dan I really enjoy your vlogs. I drove,what was then called a "high boy" trailer hauling lumber and roof trusses locally in Maryland and Virginia about 45 yrs ago. I've always wondered, o/o's frequently mention having high mileage, like yourself, on their trucks. Many with the original engine. My question involves things like clutch, transmission and suspension components. In your opinion, what's the life expectancy on those items? If an engine can go a million miles, can the same be expected of the trans or clutch. How about shocks and springs?

+Jim Clark I have 1.3 million miles on the truck. I replaced to clutch at 900000 miles everything else is original. Not to sure how much longer they will last.

At 1:15, that flatbed looks like it has four straps on spools to the left of the load strap. Seems odd to store straps like that. Great video, like drone flight at the end.

wish i'd kept my fuel stop book. i think Weatherford was favorite TS, to stop at before delivery in Ft Worth or Dallas, was another TS on the other side, i think wasn't so crowded as the pilot. not sure though, like i said, wish i'd kept my fuel stop book.

Hi Dan, I want to ask you if you use standard antifreeze or Evans life time antifreeze. I was going to try the Evans in my truck at 44.00 dollars a gallon .I was told that Evans runs a little warmer by 10° and I was just asking if you run it in your truck. Great video and thanks. Dave.
